The Great UP Run is a premier running event held at the University of the Philippines Diliman. First organized in 2007 by Coach Rio de la Curz, it has become a tradition that brings together students, alumni, athletes, and the wider community. More than just a race, it serves as a fundraiser to support UP’s varsity teams, while promoting health, fitness, and school spirit. With accessible categories like 3KM, 5KM,10KM and now 16KM, the Great UP Run continues to inspire unity and pride across generations of the UP community.
