Who can register for the race?
- For 16KM (10 miles), participants must be 18 years and above
- For 10KM, participants must be 16 years and above
- For 5KM, participants must be 7 years old and above
Children aged 12 and below are permitted to participate in the run as long as they are accompanied by a parent or guardian. Participants under 16 must obtain consent from their parent or guardian and complete the entry form, with the parent or guardian’s signature being mandatory.
Why do I need to create an account at Race Roster?
Since RUNRIO will be using Race Roster platform:
- It will help you save time logging in for the next race.
- Access to your transaction history and your confirmation receipts.
- An account hub to stay connected with each event that you signed up
- Stay updated with upcoming events
Can I transfer my registration to another runner?
As stated on the waiver, registration is non-transferrable.
Can I change my category and singlet/shirt size after registration?
Category and size cannot be changed or updated after registration.
Will there be course markers along the race routes?
Yes, course markers will be available at every kilometer along the race routes.
Will there be hydration stations available?
Yes, participants can refresh themselves with water and sports drinks provided at the hydration stations along the route every 1km to 2km.
Will there be baggage drop areas during race day?
Yes, there will be designated baggage drop areas inside the race village. There will be marshals to assist you in depositing and claiming your bags.
Will there be cups on race day or can I bring my own bottle?
Cups will be provided on the race day at hydration stations located 1-2km apart; runners scan bring their own water bottle or use any preferred hydration gear.
How will my race timing be recorded?
An RFID-based system has been adopted to record your race timings electronically. The timing chip is located on the reverse side of your race bib. 5km, 10km, and 16km participants will be timed using the said RFID timing chips.
How do I use my timing chip?
Simply ensure that your timing chip is properly affixed on the reverse side of your race bib. Wear your race bib on the front of your torso. Make sure it is not covered by jackets, runner belts, water bottles, etc. Do not alter, modify, fold or wrinkle your race bib.
Can I bring along my pets?
No. For the safety of all the race participants, pets are not permitted.
